Literacy involves speaking, listening, reading, and writing. We read books all the time and do storytelling through puppet play. We also enjoy making our own books! This week we made two books.
They are simple to make. I stapled these books together. But I’ve also used 3 Ring binders with plastic sleeves/page protectors.
The kids can draw the pictures or you can use photos or print images to use.
It’s great working together to create the books and it sparks interest in reading and writing. They enjoy reading the books we’ve made throughout the year.
