Since summer is here, we’ve been spending a lot of time outside playing.
We love to find helicopters (seeds from trees). Then we climb to the top of the slide and throw the helicopters into the air and watch them spin! I used to do this all the time as a kid 🙂 It’s really fun to get a whole handful to throw into the air at once!
We’ve been dipping our chalk into buckets of water. Then when we color on the pavement it looks creamy and almost paint like. Plus kids love anything to do with water!
We washed all the ride on toys with washcloths and buckets of water. The kids LOVE their trucks, bikes, and trikes. Adding water to the mix is just that much more fun 🙂
We’ve also found some time to do a few crafts inside:
We used paper towel rolls to make rockets. This was a huge hit with the kids! They used their imagination to play for hours. And we also made spy glasses with towel rolls. It was a lot of fun!
