Puppet Theater

The best part about childcare is being creative! Kids are so creative too!

I make a lot of the fun stuff we play with. Recently we turned an outdated entertainment center into a puppet stage. It was an easy transformation and the kids LOVE it!

Storytelling is a great activity for kids! It allows them to imagine, create characters and scenarios, and to speak clearly and enunciate. It helps build a large vocabulary and teaches them how to tell a story (beginning, middle, end).

Think of all the words they need to know to do a simple restaurant scene: Customer, Host, Waiter, Menu, Seated, Specials, Order, Beverages, Meals, Dinner, Entre, Dessert, etc.

We have hand puppets and finger puppets. The kids like them all.
